    Duties & Responsibilities: Essential Functions of Position, Major Responsibilities, Summary of Key Duties, Special Assignments, Relationships)
    • Ability to teach Language Arts Curriculum, Grades 6-8
    • Ability to use Cooperative Learning Strategies
    • Ability to prepare Integrated Curriculum Plans
    • Ability to use a variety of teaching strategies to match student learning styles
    • Ability to work in a teaming environment
    • Ability to work and teach a diverse student population
    • Possess competence in computer and technology skills
    • Implement cooperative learning strategies
    • Actively participate in data teams
    • Use data to make instructional decisions
    • Be willing to participate in district and building-wide initiatives, to include data teams, district/building staff development and district literacy
    • Successful candidate must possess strong inter-personal skills with a proven record of building rapport with culturally diverse students to ensure each child reaches his/her full potential.
    • Good attendance and punctuality are a must to ensure that the duties and responsibilities of the job are performed successfully.
