Sundance is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Social Media Specialist to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. Sundance is a leading omni-channel specialty retailer with headquarters located in Salt Lake City, UT. Founded in 1969 by Robert Redford, Sundance is a unique brand that supports artistic endeavors and focuses on creativity, originality, and inspiration.

The Social Media Strategist is responsible for the continued growth of the Sundance social presence. This person is the catalyst for driving social revenue and customer growth, reporting, department collaboration and providing a best in class experience that reflects the voice of the Sundance brand.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and post social content on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and the Sundance Blog; ensuring all media efforts align with company goals and brand.
  • Creation of social media content calendars, developing creative assets, and analyzing customer behavior
  • Building social media strategies and reporting to achieve marketing targets (both acquisition and retention)
  • Drive social media engagement KPI’s
  • Oversee and maintain social marketing production to ensure accurate and timely delivery with the internal creative and development team.
  • Create and implement social testing strategies.
  • Manage and track paid social media ad budget across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and all partner marketing efforts.
  • Manage social media reporting across organic and paid.
  • Coordinate with the agencies as needed in ideating, tracking and managing projects, new initiatives, and overall strategy in alignment with company goals.
  • Quality check all social posts prior to launch confirming links, spelling, inventory check and voice of the brand.
  • Assist in maintaining individual channel tracking codes, frequently auditing links, ads, urls, and analytics for integrity of tracking.

Qualifications


What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years in a social media marketing role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field or comparable experience
  • Hands on experience using social media for brand awareness
  • Adept at using Microsoft Excel (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Google/Adobe analytics (preferred)
  • Capable copywriting skills to reflect the voice of the Sundance brand
  • Organized, strong attention to detail, and a self-starter
  • Ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them
