Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Planner/Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and scheduling production activities to meet customer demands and optimize production efficiency. The Manufacturing Planner/Scheduler will work closely with production teams, procurement, and logistics to ensure timely delivery of quality products while minimizing waste and costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, capacity, and material availability
- Ensure timely delivery of raw materials, components, and finished goods to support production schedules
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve production-related issues
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards
- Analyze production data to identify opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction
- Create and maintain production reports, metrics, and key performance indicators
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce costs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing planning/scheduling
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
