Project Assistant [United States]


 

This position supports the project team in providing administrative project information as requested:

  • General administrative support for Utility company projects
  • Create Projects and Phases in Vantagepoint to appropriate divisions and provide data entry for projects.

  • Organize and keep track of permit status and project communications in FSS (Field Services Suite)
  • Track status of projects and produce monthly progress reports or as needed. Maintain tracking system for projects
  • Update permit status, utility project documentations, and changes
  • Provide information to facilitate questions regarding projects and prepare research information
  • Maintain data entry of project contact list and project execution plans
  • Answer email requests for services. Type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents as requested
  • Update utilities locate information Telecom/Signal Locate Ticket #’s
  • Answer project questions and direct calls
  • Special projects as directed
  • May gather and analyze past due balances and follow up with Licensees and Contractors
  • May support project invoicing related analysis, as assigned by providing requested information
  • Coordinates project research and analysis activities related to invoicing as required


Required Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Project Accounting knowledge, Basic
  • Knowledge of Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects, Basic
  • Ability to Prioritize, Organize and Plan ahead
  • Effective in Communication skills (written and verbal)
