The Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst II supports and participates in all aspects of testing, including reviewing requirements, writing test cases, creating test data, testing enhancements, and executing tests for applications that support Well Sense Health Plan.Our Investment in You:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
Key Functions/Responsibilities:
- Assists in the development and documentation of test scenarios and cases for internal systems, purchased application solutions, and web site functions.
- Performs functional testing, data validations, and regression testing of applications.
- Utilizes test tools such as Quality Center’s requirements, test plan, test lab and defects modules.
- Develops test cases from requirements and design specifications
- Designs test data
- Executes test cases
- Analyzes and documents test results
- Verifies fixes for defects
- Executes tests written and designed by others
- Contribute to the establishment of standards, best practices, and procedures for efficiency improvements in QA test design and management

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer Science, Management Information Systems, related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience is required.
Required:
- Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life cycle)
- Hands on Experience on Testing Methodologies that includes Testing Types, Data setup strategy, Test Strategy, Test Plan and Test Summary document preparations.
- Proficiency on Defect and Test Management
- 5+ years of previous Experience on ETL & Database Testing
- Ability to create Complex SQL queries by applying transformation logic to compare data
- Able to review BRD\Specification document, Understand Entity relationship model
- Able to review and use Source to Target Mapping sheet efficiently for creating Test Scenarios and Test case
- Understand Data warehouse concepts like Logical, Physical, Atomic and Dimensional Models.
- Excellent analytical, Problem solving and communication skills to interact with various individuals across the organization (Onshore\Offshore)
- To provide overview for offshore team on overall understanding, Data Flow, Tables in Scope, Testing Approach and overall scope for respective release.
- Review and Track QA defects and track them to closure.
- Review Test scenarios for every release to confirm on maximum coverage for requirements and ensure the quality of the deliverables.
- Track testing progress and ensure on time delivery for respective release.
- Identify any risk that might impact Test completion dates and notify the respective stake holders at the Earliest after confirming with Ahmed and Bala.
- Responsible for preparing Test Plan & Test Summary document.

- Experience viewing/following automated test tools
- Experience writing SQL select statements, understanding of data models
- Experience with QA tools, such as Quality Center, Rational, etc.
- Effective collaborative skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Detail oriented
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
