Sales Communications Specialist [United States]


 

We are looking to add a Sales Communications Specialist to our team to manage communications to the Sales & Shopper Marketing team regarding upcoming initiatives, sell in opportunities, process changes and project updates.

This is a highly collaborative position which will require a high level of organization and the ability to plan and organize daily workload of self, direct reports, and partners.

This is a hybrid position which will require reporting in to the offices located in Westlake, Ohio a minimum of two days per week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Represent US Sales on business projects that cross functions; ensure Sales goals and retailer requirements are incorporated. Leads communication and/or implementation of any project outcomes back to US Sales organization
  • Partner collaboratively with the business and other functional leaders to deliver business goals and plans while responsibly prioritizing company resources
  • Direct execution for all trade related activities. Ensure US & Canada Sales, Field Management, Creative, and the Occasion Leaders trade activities support marketing campaigns and brand strategies that will position American Greetings as the preferred social expressions supplier and drive profitable sales growth
  • May assist with sales/account management responsibilities on an as-needed basis
  • Owns, maintains and curates content for the Sales and Shopper Marketing intranet site, building culture and to drive awareness
  • Owns and manages the Sales Task Force mailbox, assessing needs of Sales associates and resolving issues
  • Creation of sales resources (selling material) including RSC, Marketing Communications Packages, Corp. Stratey decks, other selling tools
  • Manages the Marketing Library and suggests ways to improve (migrate to the MAP platform)
  • Manages the process of capturing and sharing store activity inputs to inform corporate forecasting, budgets, and capacity planning

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 3 years in a field management/operations role preferred; prior communication experience beneficial
  • Proven track record of successfully working in a complex organization and demonstrated ability to impact and influence cross-functionally in the organization
  • Multi-channel, mass-market experience preferred

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing/Sales or related field
